About Us

Human-centred technology, built with communities

We work to reduce digital exclusion across the East Midlands, the UK and — as we grow — internationally, building the skills, confidence and opportunity people need to thrive in a digital world.

“We do not offer a conventional information service. We are building a scalable digital social-impact platform that supports community engagement, education, entrepreneurship, volunteering, fundraising, partnerships, project delivery, international development and transparent measurement of social impact.”

Who we are

Creative-Edge Digital Conscious CIC is a Community Interest Company — a special form of UK social enterprise. A CIC is asset-locked, meaning its assets and profits must be used for the community's benefit and cannot be distributed for private gain.

A CIC trades to generate income for community benefit rather than private profit, sitting between the charity and commercial sectors: entrepreneurial in how it works, accountable in how it is regulated, and wholly dedicated to the community it serves.
