Who we are

What we collect

We currently collect personal data only through two forms on this website:

• Contact enquiries — your name, email address, the topic you are interested in, and your message.
• Newsletter sign-ups — your email address, and the page you signed up from.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or any other data-collection tools at this stage.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry — we use your contact details to reply to you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a request you have made).
• To send you our newsletter — we use your email address to send updates about our work. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us.

How long we keep your data

Contact enquiries are kept for no longer than 24 months after the enquiry is resolved, unless a longer period is needed for a legal obligation. Newsletter sign-up data is kept until you unsubscribe, after which your address is removed from the active list.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored in our secure cloud database. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased in certain circumstances;
• restrict or object to how we process it;
• data portability, where applicable; and
• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

How to make a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)

To exercise any of your rights, including requesting a copy of the data we hold about you, contact us through our contact form with the subject line “Data Subject Access Request”. We will respond within one month, as required by law. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
